Terms & Conditions

To ensure the best experience, please read carefully the following terms and conditions. It is the responsibility of the client to understand and agree to these terms and conditions.

DEPOSITS

A $150 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure the wedding date. 50% of the outstanding balance is due 1 week after the trial and the remaining balance is due 1 week before the wedding date. If the balance isn’t paid on the due dates, you run the risk of loosing your booking.

ADDING BRIDESMAIDS

More bridesmaids can be added into the party if time allows. The max amount I can accept is 6 people. If your bridal party is larger than 6 people, I recommend booking a 2nd Makeup Artist for the wedding day. I have Makeup Artists that I can refer you to if need be.

CANCELLATIONS

I understand that that unforeseen circumstances can arise that might make it difficult for you to attend your appointment. If you need to cancel your wedding booking, a minimum of 8 weeks notice is required. Notice period may be considered on a case by case basis. Please note that all deposits are strictly non refundable under any circumstances. If less than 8 weeks notice is given, an invoice will be sent for the remaining balance owing.

Should unforeseen circumstances arise Basically Esthetics, LLC reserves the right to cancel any future appointments made (this is in the case that Madison falls severely ill, is injured, or receives a lack of or rude communication from the client).

After the trial is completed, if you are not happy with the outcome or I believe I am not the right Makeup Artist for your wedding, Basically Esthetics, LLC reserves the right to cancel the wedding party.

RESCHEDULING

As a professional Makeup Artist, I understand that unforeseen circumstances might make it difficult to attend your appointment. However, I only allow one reschedule per appointment. If you are unable to attend after rescheduling once, the appointment will be cancelled and a new deposit will be required to schedule a new appointment. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please give me as much notice as possible. I require a minimum 24hr notice for rescheduling bridal trials and a minimum 2 week notice for the wedding date. Valid reasons for rescheduling within these windows include illness, family emergency, or extreme weather conditions. Other unforeseen conflicts may be considered on a case by case basis.

LATE/NO SHOWS

As a Makeup Artist I take punctuality very seriously to ensure that the bride and her bridal party look amazing and are ready on time. Therefore, I have to set the following terms and conditions regarding clients being late.

If the client is late for their appointment, the Makeup Artist will wait 30 minutes maximum for their arrival. After the 30 minutes, the Makeup Artist will leave and the appointment will be cancelled. The appointment will be considered a no-show and the full booking fee will still apply.

If the client is running late and contacts the makeup artist in advance, every effort will be made to accommodate the delay. However, depending on the day, this might result in fewer services being provided or a shorter appointment time.

In the event that the Makeup Artist leaves due to the client being late, the client will not be issued a refund for any services not provided.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they arrive on time, the Makeup Artist may have other appointments scheduled after the client.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Basically Esthetics, LLC is not, under any circumstances, responsible for any allergic reactions to the products used. It is the client’s responsibility to notify Madison prior to the service.

Please ensure that any children present on the day at the location do not touch the makeup kit or any equipment Madison brings.

Please do not touch Madison’s makeup kit as it has all been thoroughly sanitized prior to arrival.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Upon paying your booking fee, you agree to have your before and after pictures/videos taken for promotional purposes on Basically Esthetics, LLC’s social media accounts.

These terms and conditions are set in place to ensure that clients receive the best possible service from Basically Esthetics, LLC. They are subject to change at any time. By paying your booking deposit, you agree to abide by the aforementioned terms and conditions.
